In session one, we move our practice application into an Azure App Service after making sure it’s running locally. We’ll show you how to choose the right hosting model, and you’ll deploy the app to Azure.
In session two, we will learn to select the appropriate Azure database solution, and then we’ll migrate the local database and its data into the cloud.
We’ll cover the benefits of automated versus manual deployment for moving your data from local database instances to the cloud. You will automate your build and deployment using Azure App Service Deployment Center.
In this session, we are going to move away from our filesystem-based image storage to a cloud-based solution. To get there, we are going to write some code and, with automated builds in place, our deployed solution will automatically be updated on Azure.
To make sure things are going well now that the project is fully running in the cloud, we’ll teach you to monitor your application against metrics, configure alerts when your application hits certain thresholds, and set up scaling rules for your application.
