Welcome to the Microsoft Teams Rooms Sales and Technical training.
This is a bi-weekly event with Sales and Technical sessions every other Thursday at 16.00 CET/07.00 PT.
The audience for the event is Teams Rooms partners, Distribution partners and OEM´s. It will be hosted by the Microsoft Partner Technology Strategists team including Michel Bouman, Mohammed Khalifa, Robert Karlsson & Jimmy Vaughan
For the more technical trainings we are targeting roles that work with customers to specify, and implement room build outs including the creation of accounts and network infrastructure requirements. Roles that are ideally suited for this course include (but are not limited to) Technical Architect, Solutions Engineer, Technical Sales etc.
With the more sales focused trainings we are targeting roles that work with presenting the value of Microsoft Teams Rooms, building solutions and customer offerings and guiding customers about licenses and high-level management options. Roles that are ideally suited for this course include (but are not limited to) Sales Professionals, Business Development Managers, Telesales etc.
The goal with these sessions is to create a forum for sales and technical skilling that will be reoccurring bi-weekly throughout FY23, to create the notion that there is always updated training available for you our valued Teams Rooms partners.
Introduction to Microsoft Teams Rooms
This is a high-level training session that gives that overview of how Microsoft Teams Rooms brings value, ease of use and security to meetings. We will talk through the available solution options and the ecosystem of vendors including licenses.
Room Design and Meeting Personas
This is a training session where we will talk through the important things to consider when designing meeting rooms. What room types do we see, how can we make it easy for the customer to understand by building out a customer specific matrix of rooms based out of size, people in the room, meeting capabilities and more.
Teams Rooms Device Types and Categories
In this training session we will talk about the different solutions we have for Teams Rooms, Windows or Android based. We will also cover other categories like Teams Panels, Teams Displays and Teams Boards.
Network Requirements For a Great Experience
We will give an understanding on how to optimize the network to best take advantage of Microsoft 365. And talk about how media travels across networks and learn about investments made to optimize network connectivity for Microsoft Teams.
Resource Accounts and Out of The Box Experience
In this session we will cover what a resource account is and show how and where you can create an account. We will also talk about additional options for a richer booking experience and some security options.
Microsoft Teams Rooms – Key Features Part 1
In these two sessions we will cover some of Microsoft Teams Rooms key features like the intelligent video and audio features, Direct Guest Join, Front Row + other layouts, Companion mode and much more. We will go through the added value of a Teams Rooms solution compared to Bring Your Own Device/Meeting.

In these two sessions we will cover some of Microsoft Teams Rooms key features like the intelligent video and audio features, Direct Guest Join, Front Row + other layouts, Companion mode and much more. Microsoft Teams Rooms – Licensing and Management
In this session we will cover the licenses available for Teams Rooms - Basic and Pro. We will also talk about the management options like Teams Admin Center, Endpoint Manager and the Microsoft Managed Service.
