Build a knowledge mining solution using Azure AI

We begin with an overview of Azure Cognitive Search, business scenarios, and industry-specific applications. We’ll highlight key parts of the architecture document so you can see details of the solution created throughout the training labs. You’ll get started by creating an Azure Cognitive Search service and storage account.

Learn how to ingest and index a provided data set using the built-in tools in Azure Cognitive Search so that you can ingest and search business documents. You’ll also learn the mechanics of programming data enrichment using cognitive skills, including language detection, entity recognition, and key phrase extraction.

We’ll prepare you to add an image-analysis skill set to your pipeline using the OCR skill which extracts layout information and text from image files such as JPGs, PNGs, and bitmaps. You will also learn how to create a custom skill and integrate it into the enrichment pipeline, and you will use an Azure function to wrap the content moderator API and detect incompliant documents in the dataset.

You will learn how Azure Cognitive Search can be integrated into a bot using the Microsoft Bot Framework (SDK V4, .NET Core). Using a bot that has been created for you, you’ll get the chance to interact with your search service and use debugging to follow the processes to call the Azure Cognitive Search API and format results.
