Building a hybrid organisation

2020 was the year that saw an overnight shift to remote working. It was the largest ever experiment into a virtual workplace and brought some interesting results. On the one hand, we found more time spent with loved ones and our productivity increased. On the other, we worked longer hours and craved an in-person connection with colleagues.

Recent research showed 71% of UK employees want flexible work options to continue - hybrid working is here to stay and no one has achieve the perfect remote or hybrid setup. However, we have been given an opportunity to learn from our experiences, and the experiences of those around us, to define and inclusive, hybrid strategy for the new world of work.

In this session, Nick Hedderman, Modern Work Lead at Microsoft UK, will be joined by a panel of experts to explore 3 areas which we believe are key to a successful hybrid organisation: People, Places & Processes. We’ll discuss a range of key topics - from employee experience and talent retention, to physical spaces and automation – and how these come together to form a framework for hybrid.

We’re delighted to be joined by:

Ben Whitter, Author of Employee Experience and Human Experience at Work (Published May 3rd 2021), CEO of HEX Organization and the Founder of the World Employee Experience Institute (WEEI)

Justin Westcott, Chief Operating Officer (COO) UK & Ireland; Head of Technology, Europe, Edelman

Cara Sugrue, Head of Sales, UK & Ireland, Steelcase

Nick Hedderman, Modern Work & Security Lead, Microsoft UK

We’ll also have Microsoft experts on hand to answer your questions.

We look forward to seeing you there
