What is happening?
As announced in May 2021, the future of Internet Explorer on Windows 10 is in Microsoft Edge with Internet Explorer mode, which provides legacy browser compatibility support within Microsoft Edge. Because of this support, the Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) desktop application will be retired on June 15, 2022.
What actions should I take to prepare?
Organizations with a dependency on IE11 need to begin configuring IE mode now and build a plan for transitioning users to Microsoft Edge.
