He is one of 25 global Strategy Officers with the World Economic Forum advising some of the world's largest and fastest-growing organizations on their digital and cultural transformation, skills development, competitiveness, productivity, and integration of emerging technology strategies. His research projects for multinational organizations around the world tackle practical challenges when looking to compete and grow through economic recovery and social reinvention. Philippe Rogge | President, Microsoft Central and Eastern Europe
Philippe Rogge leads the Microsoft Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) business across a diverse region of 33 countries. Throughout his career he has been responsible for creating strategic direction, driving commercial growth, and championing innovation across multiple industries, including logistics, financial services, maritime and telecoms. Philippe joined Microsoft as Enterprise and Partner Group Director and served as General Manager for Belgium and Luxembourg; as well as Microsoft Portugal on an interim basis. Prior to assuming leadership of Microsoft CEE, Philippe served as Chief Operating Officer of Microsoft China. Philippe graduated from the University of Gent, as well as the Vlerick School of Management and INSEAD.

Daniel Rusen has an extensive business expertise of over 17 years of experience in telecommunications and IT industries. During his professional career at Microsoft, Daniel played major roles in facilitating the synergy between marketing & operations and in embarking Microsoft’s business partners in an in-depth transformation process towards cloud services. In his current role, Daniel leads his team to drive digital transformation growth and accelerate technological adoption across all segments on the Romanian market. His mission is to prove the remarkable power and essential role of cloud in digital transformation, as a way to spawn innovation and maximize efficiency in the business environment.

Alina Irma Orban | Interim General Manager, Microsoft Romania

Alina Irma Orban is Microsoft’ Romania new Interim Manager since January 1st, 2021. Over the past six years, Alina Orban has been part of Microsoft Romania team, and previously held the Senior Sales Director position. She is an engineer with a Master’s degree in Electronics & Telecommunications, and over 17 years of experience in well-known multinational companies, with broader implication and control over strategic business areas.

Alina joined Microsoft Romania in June 2014, after holding top positions in companies like Vodafone and Romtelecom. During her career, she managed complex projects in Public and Corporate sectors, having a proven history of high performance as individual or as a team manager.

Violeta Luca | General Manager, Microsoft Czech Republic, and Slovakia

Violeta Luca is the General Manager of Microsoft Czech Republic and Slovakia since January 2021, after holding the same position for over 2 years for Microsoft Romania and having a wealth of senior leadership expertise in sales, general management, marketing, and operations. Violeta has a remarkable career track record as a manager within Microsoft Romania and within Whirlpool, Flanco, eMAG and Metro Cash & Carry Romania. and the expansion of Microsoft's business ecosystem of partners by encouraging local innovation, integrating good regional and global practice, and promoting an organizational culture based on collaboration, diversity, and lifelong learning.

Iulian Stanciu | Chief Executive Officer, eMAG

Iulian Stanciu is at the helm of the company’s management starting 2009 when he became a majority stakeholder in the online retailer. Three years later, he partnered with South-African investment fund Naspers turning eMAG into the largest online retailer in SEE.
On the backbone of the technology developed in Romania, eMAG continued to expand regionally under Iulian’s leadership: the company merged its Hungarian operations with the local market leader Extreme Digital setting the 1 bn EUR-milestone with the aim of becoming local market leader.
During the past years he played a great role in driving eMAG Foundation to make an impact in education, a key area at the core of the Romanian society. Through its programs, eMAG Foundation created the infrastructure to support yearly 5,000 students reach their full potential at math, physics, and IT while in some of the poor communities it helps 1,000 children yearly to keep learning, not to abandon school.

Florin Popa | Business to Business Director, Orange Romania

Florin Popa is the Business to Business Director in Orange Romania since 2013, beginning his career in the telecom sector in 2001. With the help of his team, Florin enables Orange to become the digital transformation partner for businesses and public authorities in Romania.

Orange Business Services division of Orange Romania gives companies and authorities support in implementing solutions from a rich portfolio of connectivity and ICT products and services. Under Florin’s management, the ICT revenues of Orange Romania have become the main growth engine for enterprise segment, only last year growing by 20%.

Vargha Moayed | Chief Strategy Officer, UiPath

Vargha Moayed holds the Chief Strategy officer position within UiPath since March 2018 and joined the company from EY, where he was a partner leading advisory services in Romania.

Early to recognize the transformational opportunities with RPA, he built EY's RPA Center of Excellence for EMEA and he championed the technology with clients across the oil and gas, energy & utilities, financial services, and public administration markets.

Throughout his professional services career, Vargha consulted multinational organizations on corporate strategy, sales management & organizational effectiveness. His previous experience includes co-founding a software company and a high-tech incubator with Goldman Sachs as lead investor. He also worked for McKinsey in North America and was a vice president of corporate development for First Data.

Fady Chreih | CEO, Regina Maria Healthcare Network

Fady Chreih is CEO of one of the leading private healthcare networks in Romania and the only Romanian healthcare organization with international accreditations.
Fady has a background in banking and is passionate about creating sustainable and accountable organizations, with an emphasis on organizational behaviour. Together with more than 5,000 employees and consultants, he is now focusing on delivering excellence in healthcare.
During recent years, Fady became increasingly involved in promoting equal access to quality education and is now Member of the Board of United Way Romania and Teach for Romania, and a member of the YPO Romanian Chapter.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics, an MBA from The University of Sheffield and certificates of executive courses at Harvard University, Stanford University and London Business School.
