In this session, you’ll see how to set up automated deployments to Azure, both manually using VS Code and automated using GitHub Actions for a specific production branch. This involves separating environment variables between dev and prod and showing how to use the correct ones in Github Actions. 
 
You’ll learn how to look back in the git history, revert a production branch back to a production ready state, and then fork those commits off onto the production branch. We’ll cover how to push the production branch to GitHub where it will have special GitHub Actions tests and deployments ran on it.
 
The importance of properly labelling commits and performing automated tests to ensure quality will also be discussed.

Dans cette séance, vous apprendrez comment configurer des déploiements automatisés sur Azure, à la fois manuellement à l’aide de VS Code et de façon automatique à l’aide de GitHub Actions pour une branche de production spécifique. Cela implique de séparer les variables d’environnement entre développement et production, et de montrer comment utiliser les bonnes dans GitHub Actions. 
 
Vous apprendrez à regarder en arrière dans l’historique Git, à ramener une branche de production à un état prêt pour la production, puis à transférer ces validations sur la 
branche de production. Nous verrons comment pousser la branche de production vers GitHub où des tests et des déploiements spéciaux GitHub Actions seront exécutés.
 
Nous aborderons également l’importance d’étiqueter correctement les validations et d’effectuer des tests automatisés pour garantir la qualité.
