EduDay 2020 - The shift to hybrid learning

The shift to online and hybrid learning globally resulted in many educators leveraging technology deeply to support student outcomes. As we continue the school year, there is uncertainty as to what the classroom environment will look like but we understand that technology will play a critical role in supporting educators, parents and students.

Learn about Microsoft Teams and how it can be used in classrooms and schools. Create a digital environment for your students that can be effective in all learning scenarios, remote or in-class. With Teams, students can take part in synchronous distance learning or use Teams to access lessons and work after live class time.

In face-to-face classrooms, students interact with you and their peers during class discussions, Q&A and group work. Creating opportunities for collaboration and communication to engage students are also possible in online learning environments. In this virtual event, we will explore how to boost student collaboration and engagement with Microsoft Whiteboard.

If you are new to Microsoft Teams, you may be unsure of the role OneNote Class Notebook plays in your remote learning environment. While Microsoft Teams is your digital hub, OneNote is your digital three-ring binder. In this workshop, Pip Cleaves will show you a variety of options for using SharePoint in your space. She’ll even show you how you can make it look amazing as well. You’ll be introduced to ways to integrate Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate into your SharePoint space too! It will be a little geeky, but nothing too much.
