As the APAC Lead for the cloud partner business, with the Sales and Marketing Organization, Pratima spearheads the work Microsoft does to empower customers of all sizes to digitally transform their businesses with solution partners.

She leads the strategy, planning and execution of the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) business for APAC. Her cross-functional, multi-country team of technologists, business and partner development experts provide technical and industry expertise to solution vendor companies.

Over the past 20 years, Pratima has held leadership and P&L responsibilities at various technology companies like Rational Software, IBM and Sun Microsystems. She has built and led technical teams that have delivered high growth cloud revenues at emerging and developed global markets.

Pratima is a regular speaker at startup meetups and developer events, particularly for women in technology. She is an active technology mentor to some promising APAC startups and women entrepreneurs. She chairs the Microsoft Diversity and Inclusion Council for Accessibility and Assistive Technology.

Vipin Chandran

Vipin Chandran is a member of SAP South East Asia Leadership team and heads Channels & Ecosystem for SEA. He is responsible for partner business across 12 countries with a resolute focus on customer & partner success. Vipin & his team works closely with colleagues in Sales, Pre-Sales, Business development, Marketing & Industries to ensure success of 178 partners in the region. Vipin is passionate about helping customers realize greater business value through technology and partner capabilities. He maintains an unwavering commitment to the company’s vision of helping the world run better and improving people’s lives.

Before serving in this role, Vipin held several leadership positions in SAP APJ & SAP India. Vipin is an Industry Leader with 25 years of management experience and a successful track record of leading high-performance Sales teams, building start up Sales operations and Partner management. He has a deep understanding of Applications and Technology Industry dynamics with a passion for direct customer engagement and partnerships. He enjoys customer relationships across multiple industries and geographies.

Prior to joining SAP in 2008, Vipin has been associated with organizations like Microsoft, Oracle & HCL. He holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur and an EGMP from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Gautam Guin brings more than three decades of extensive experience across server, storage, networking and software-defined technologies, with accomplishments in building effective regional partner ecosystem with go-to-market strategy and programs for IBM, Intel, Motorola, Seagate, Juniper as well as for an Industrial IoT Start-up engaging with cloud service provider, data center hosting, telco, storage & networking space. He is the founding member of a non-profit organization called Internet Alliance Malaysia ( http://www.internetalliance.my/) in improving and driving the internet economy for IA.

At SUSE, Gautam is part of the APJ team managing strategic partnership alliance with Microsoft across the region, enabling the world’s largest independent open source company to innovate and harness the power of the community and ecosystem to deliver joint solutions that are flexible, scalable and cost effective for enterprise customers.
